Over the years, we have consistently increased the new product range under our umbrella. We produce the finest Spirits and ensure clean fermentation. Our master distiller remains true to our traditions. We cater to the Indian as well as Overseas market with various successful brands. Among our in-house brands, Central Province Superior Grain Whisky and Titanium Triple Distilled Vodka are the most coveted in terms of demand.
AABL's proprietary brand portfolio includes: Central Province Superior Grain Whisky (the flagship brand), Titanium Triple Distilled Vodka, Bombay Special Whisky, James Mc Gill Whisky, Superman Fine Whisky, Jamaican Magic Rum, and Desi Madira Masala (a traditional Indian spiced spirit). Central Province Whisky and Titanium Vodka are the highest-demand brands in the portfolio.
Central Province Superior Grain Whisky is AABL's flagship proprietary whisky brand. It is produced using a grain-based distillation process, delivering superior smoothness and quality. It is one of AABL's most coveted in-house brands in terms of consumer demand and is available across multiple states.
Titanium is AABL's flagship vodka brand, distinguished by its triple distillation process using grain-based neutral spirit. Triple distillation produces an exceptionally clean and smooth spirit, making Titanium a premium offering in the vodka segment. It is one of AABL's highest-demand proprietary brands.
Yes. AABL produces Jamaican Magic Rum as part of its proprietary brand portfolio. The company's distillery and bottling capabilities cover the full range of spirit categories including whisky, vodka, and rum.
AABL's brands cater to both the domestic Indian market and overseas markets. The company produces spirits across multiple price segments from popular value brands to premium grain whiskies and triple-distilled vodkas enabling it to address a broad range of consumer aspirations.
AABL maintains quality through its master distiller, who upholds the company's distillation traditions while adhering to global manufacturing standards. The grain-based ENA produced at AABL's own facility forms the backbone of all its proprietary brands, ensuring consistent quality from base spirit through to the finished product.
AABL's revenues from proprietary brands were at 8% in 2016-17, with a stated target to grow this to 20% by 2020. This shift from contract and commodity revenue to branded revenue is central to AABL's margin expansion strategy, as proprietary brands generate significantly higher margins than bulk ENA or contract manufacturing.
Desi Madira Masala is a traditional Indian spiced spirit in AABL's proprietary brand lineup. It targets the domestic market for traditional alcoholic beverages with Indian flavour profiles, offering a culturally rooted product alongside AABL's more internationally positioned grain whisky and vodka brands.
AABL targets both segments simultaneously, which is a deliberate portfolio strategy. The contract manufacturing business (Smirnoff, Black Dog, Captain Morgan) addresses premium and super-premium consumers. AABL's own brands span value (Superman Fine Whisky, Desi Madira Masala) through to premium (Central Province Grain Whisky, Titanium Triple Distilled Vodka), enabling participation across India's expanding spirits consumption pyramid.
AABL's proprietary brands are available in both the Indian domestic market and overseas markets. The company's Bottling Facilities page notes caterering to 'the Indian as well as Overseas market,' indicating export ambitions for brands like Central Province Whisky and Titanium Vodka. Detailed export market information is available through the Investor Relations section.
